Prometheus

My body is ready.

Monday, 2 May 2011

A week alone in the house, I think I'm going to get lonely without my parents...doing nothing of importance, bit of photography there, bit of dissertation there.  Lately though, I've been getting all nostalgic whilst re-watching the X-Men the animated series from the 90's. I am fully in love with Gambit and I can't seem to stop, it's like oooh just one more episode. I've got through 2 series and I'm nearly at the end of the 3rd, waiting for a bit of Gambit and Rogue to do the dirty. Is there something wrong with me? wanting to see animated penis? lordy
2 weeks of university left, and its stress central in this brain of mine.

Photos taken in London Aquarium and in Alex's Garden.

Long time, no see

aha yes it has been a while, forgive me. I wont begin to tell you about the drag that is university life, soon it will be over... a month to be precise, then I will be out off and aywaaaayyyyyy. I wont really be going anywhere instead I'm hoping to stay and do a masters while tuition fees are slightly more reasonable than the ridiculous £9,000 they're asking for in 2012. I'm seeing Bonobo next week with Natalie, pretty excited.
My university work is actually coming together, I feel more and more confident about it everyday and plus fact I feel it will give me a good mark because I tried something different and unusual, hopefully that will pay out.

I've also been bleaching and burning photographs today ( in the lovely warm sunny weather), still a lot of progress needed, but with a month to go I'm feeling more confident than ever. I took some more shots of veins and pale bodies along with a few nude shots, penis and all. Those will be bleached and burnt because I think they'll have really nice texture because of the colour. Anyway dissertation is a mess but at least the words are all there!

I actually think I can pull this off, however ask me in two weeks and see whether or not I'm freaking out!
veggie pizza time, I'm off

Cherry Waves

I finished Looking for Alaska on Thursday, I loved the book entirely I haven't been moved like that in a while, Alaska was such a free spirit, a beautiful human being and a delicious soul. She reminded me a little of myself, mainly her recklessness, moodiness and flirtatious mannerisms. I came away wanting to be a little like Miles and Alaska. I thank Sam and Tom for recommending it to me.

This weekend was spent cooking some amazing food and ordering lots in. I had some scrummy Chinese take away and watched Big Bang Theory on Friday followed by me cooking a prawn and muscle chili linguine for Alex and I on Saturday with yummy take away falafel wraps after the pub. Then on Sunday I made some Moroccan chicken with couscous, tzatziki and salad in a wrap. Heh very proud of the cook I'm becoming, sadly I didn't take any photos...

I also got my tattoo done on Friday, most pain I've felt ever... it was just so nippy and made my toes curl. I adore it though and I get it's twin on my right leg next week.

At the moment I'm currently sitting with a glass of lemon juice, typing furiously at the computer and listening to the Thomas Newman score for Revolutionary Road. It puts my weary mind at peace with the stress of lingering university projects.

Tomorrow I get my tattoo, I'm fidgety and shaky at the moment. Hoping the bores of writing this dissertation with calm my apprehensiveness.

Jean Grey

I'm feeling a jean grey vibe today. Excuse the plaster's my micro dermal has been feeling loose since Noel nearly yanked it out of me. hmmm. I managed to acquire a book I've been searching for finally, so.. currently have it in my lap with a green tea listening to some drum and bass. Expect no less!
