I finished Looking for Alaska on Thursday, I loved the book entirely I haven't been moved like that in a while, Alaska was such a free spirit, a beautiful human being and a delicious soul. She reminded me a little of myself, mainly her recklessness, moodiness and flirtatious mannerisms. I came away wanting to be a little like Miles and Alaska. I thank Sam and Tom for recommending it to me.
This weekend was spent cooking some amazing food and ordering lots in. I had some scrummy Chinese take away and watched Big Bang Theory on Friday followed by me cooking a prawn and muscle chili linguine for Alex and I on Saturday with yummy take away falafel wraps after the pub. Then on Sunday I made some Moroccan chicken with couscous, tzatziki and salad in a wrap. Heh very proud of the cook I'm becoming, sadly I didn't take any photos...
I also got my tattoo done on Friday, most pain I've felt ever... it was just so nippy and made my toes curl. I adore it though and I get it's twin on my right leg next week.

At the moment I'm currently sitting with a glass of lemon juice,typing furiously at the computer and listening to the Thomas Newman score for Revolutionary Road. It puts my weary mind at peace with the stress of lingering university projects.
Tomorrow I get my tattoo, I'm fidgety and shaky at the moment. Hoping the bores of writing this dissertation with calm my apprehensiveness.
I'm feeling a jean grey vibe today. Excuse the plaster's my micro dermal has been feeling loose since Noel nearly yanked it out of me. hmmm. I managed to acquire a book I've been searching for finally, so.. currently have it in my lap with a green tea listening to some drum and bass. Expect no less!
Fuck knows the inspiration for this, but I was bored and I began cleaning out the whole of my room at around 4:30 this afternoon. Under my bed alone I managed to find tampons (unused), cables, prit sticks, bra straps, teddy bears, music tapes, photo frames, shoes, music sheets, stickers, stretchers, bows, laces, wires and more wires, my Ds, post-its, pencils, a rolling machine, negatives, Christmas cards and birthday cards, action figures and toy snakes, lipstick, self help books, playing cards and about a million leaflets, filters and unopened envelops.
Amongst these fascinating objects..I found 7 pairs of glasses, as soon as I'd taken this photo I found 3 more...

I'm so drained, a day spent entertaining Noel, cooking and comforting Natalie and then I come home to a drunken Dad. Although its not as bad as it sounds he was singing whilst doing the hoovering after smashing a bit of glass and looked a bit sorry for himself.
hmmmmm and I can't find Georgie.... I feel like a cuddle.
I'm going to get into bed and watch Blade Runner. I hope I drift off into a deep sleep and dream of my life in Canada away from fatheads and stupid dicks.
Today I have managed to once again do very little work. I've written about 500 words for each chapter. I have 3 months to do this so I shouldn't be panicking so much but in a way I fucking well should be. I have done minimal amounts of Photography except for this blog, I should crack on, maybe I'll put a couple of 120film roles into snappy snaps and hope for the best. I need to be doing some naked b&w shots of myself to paint over. I'm totally shitting it, but I've got to give it my all. Next week I begin my last semester...
